What we handle

• Aethos is responsible for removing your existing window coverings as part of the installation.
• Disposal of the removed materials remains the customer's responsibility.
• Customer is responsible for removing all furniture and obstructions prior to the installer's arrival.

Important customer information

• Sheer weave and screen weave blinds do not offer privacy at night when interior lights are on.
• Zebra and roller shades will have visible gaps in bay/bow window installations.
• All inside mount blinds and shades will have light gaps between the product and frame to allow for smooth operation.
• Curtains are manufactured to millimetre measurements. Wall-to-wall tracks are cut to the measured opening; a tolerance of ±10 mm applies.
• Fabric drop on ripple fold and butterfly pleat curtains may vary slightly once hung and will settle within two weeks.
• No products or applications offer 100% light filtration or blackout.
• Customer acknowledges that gaps will be present where blinds and shades meet.

Payment terms

A minimum deposit of 50% of the total project value is required before production commences and installation is scheduled. This deposit is strictly non-refundable. The remaining balance is due in full upon installation and successful completion of the project or services provided, unless an approved instalment arrangement has been established in writing. In the event that an outstanding balance remains unpaid for a period exceeding thirty (30) days from the completion date, Aethos Interiors reserves the right to refer the account to a third-party collection agency without further notice.

All exclusive discounts are valid for 24 hours from the date of the quote unless otherwise specified in writing.

Service delivery & satisfaction policy

To ensure the highest standard of craftsmanship, Aethos Interiors manages all installations within a flexible delivery window. No price concessions or discounts will be offered for scheduling adjustments occurring within twenty (20) days of the projected installation start date. For any project-related grievances, including but not limited to installation delays beyond the grace period or any other service-related inconveniences, the maximum aggregate compensation or credit is strictly limited to $100.00 CAD. This credit is applicable solely upon the successful completion of the project and constitutes full and final settlement for all non-structural service claims.

Warranty summary

• Lifetime servicing: includes any labour charges associated with servicing of the blinds.
• Lifetime warranty on zebra shades: covers the manual corded mechanism, the clutch system and the aluminium hardware.
• Aluminium hardware & clutch system: 10-year limited warranty.
• Motors: 3-year limited warranty.
• Designer & Premium fabric: 10-year warranty against defects, colour fading, and delamination.
• Basic fabric: 3-year limited warranty.
• Curtain tracks: 5-year limited warranty on track and carriers.
• Curtain fabric: 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
• Door frostings / window film: No warranty provided. Installation is permanent; removal and reinstallation are not covered.

By initialling this document, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms, conditions, product information, and policies outlined herein.
